Exciting news for pro football fans! I recently acquired a 35 piece collection of small vintage NFL football pennants. My husband says they are from 1970 when the AFL and NFL merged and feature several teams that have moved or changed names and/or logos.

These pennants can show their age with some fraying and cracks in the screen print, but overall they are in good shape.

I will continue to post more NFL pennant pillows as I complete them. Please continue to check the site and cross your fingers that I have your favorite team.

Vintage Sports Pennant Pillows

Over the past two years an odd phenomenon has taken place. I have focused nearly entirely on pillows with vintage travel pennants yet when customers approach my booth at art fairs they somehow see sports pennants. I guess pennants are tied so closely to sports that people immediately think of their favorite team and begin a search for their hometown baseball or football team. So, in order to meet the desire of my sports fanatic customers, my husband being one, I am now making vintage sports pennant pillows. The pennants can often be difficult to obtain so please be patient while I search for your specific ball club.

Currently I have a nice selection of football and a few baseball available. They are small in size (approx. 10"x5"), but will make a big impact in your home. I use a heather gray wool blend felt, reminiscent of vintage athletic uniforms, for the front and back the pillows with heather charcoal gray wool blend felt or a team color felt, if available. These pillows are the perfect accent for your media room, office or "man cave."
